Tukod Foundation has been tapped by the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) to help improve their facilities for their Hub for Children with Disabilities. A 513-square meter area on the second floor of a refurbished building in the PGH compound has been put aside for the Hub. This space is designed to test and treat children who are physically and mentally challenged. Tukod Foundation would like to thank its partners for this project: Consuelo Foundation, Rayomar, Uratex, and One World.
- The very first center for children with disabilities, renovated in partnership with Physicians for Peace and UNICEF.
- It has served over 1,600 patients since launch.
- The over-all interiors designed by Ms Bambi Mañosa-Tanjutco will serve as the standard look for the rest of the centers that will be established across the country.
