The UST College of Architecture and Heritage Conservation Society and UST Museum celebrated their Architecture Week in February 27 to April 6, 2018.
A highlight of the event was a week-long exhibit of Mañosa: Beyond Architecture. The exhibit featured chapters in the development and evolution of Architect Mañosa’s work, specifically: his championing of indigenous craft, and its translatability to contemporary or innovation-based executions, his belief in the role materials and processes play in structural integrity, and his desire to build spaces designed to encourage positive social interaction. A section of the exhibit was also devoted to Architect Mañosa’s most formative and imaginative years.
Tukod Foundation wishes to thank its partners for this exhibit: UST Museum,
Heritage Conservation Society HCS, and the UST Architecture Department
